This week baby has reached about the size of a large apple (I did not eat apples this week). Baby’s legs are growing longer than the arms and baby can now move ALL of his/her joints and limbs. Although the eyelids are still fused shut and will not open until nearly the end of second trimester, baby is already sensitive to light – most important development milestone of this week!
Yet again I would like to say ‘not much is happening’, but our bodies are ever growing, so it would be better for me to say ‘not much is changing’ except for maybe I’ve begun to feel fatter and fatter by the day. Week 15 was one of those weeks which were fairly easy in the pregnancy sense that it just flew by and I kind of just skipped it! I personally didn’t find out the sex of the baby this week but I know many mothers do around this mark. Did any of you?
